It does not seem like much until it’s taken into consideration that for the original, these were the overall sales. What comes as a pleasant surprise is that these numbers, while not in the top ten for most units sold this year for Capcom, do mean that the Resident Evil 3 remake has sold more than the original, which at 1999 sold 3.5 million copies. ![]() Numbers show that Resident Evil 3 has sold over 3.9 copies of the game, including digital. ![]() While only being available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, (and waiting for the official announcement that will be seen on Nintendo Switch), Resident Evil 3 has done very well for itself, despite being a short game. It seems that like Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil: Village, the Resident Evil 3 Remake is not doing too badly for itself.
